Rest In Peace Tim Sale

After being shocked and deeply saddened by the news that legendary artist Tim Sale had passed way today, I felt it was necessary for me to do something, anything. The first time I had ever seen Tim Sale's art was when he did variant covers for an old Batman run a few years ago. During my Junior year in High School, I went to my school library to study for my U.S. History class. However when I sat at a table and pulled out my laptop, to my right was a shelf of comic books and to my surprise, I recognized one of the sides of a book and said to myself, "No way." I pulled out the book and I was right, it was none other than a classic book; Batman: The Long Halloween. I had never read the story before but I had always known about it. So, instead of studying for class, I decided to start reading the book, and man oh man, I was obsessed. I was transfixed by Tim Sale's art, holding and touching the pages with my hand and focused on the story and writing by Jeph Loeb, I ended up taking the book with me. Since then, I have very much grown appreciated of Tim Sale's art and also sorts of exotic art styles. I will miss this legend very much. Not only that, but I know there are so many fantastic comic books that Tim Sale worked on that I haven't even gotten to yet. Which means now I have some work to do. Thank you Tim Sale for your incredible work.

Thank you Tim Sale.

Thank you Tim Sale.
